Providing Mental Health Services & Medication Management in Minnesota (via telehealth & in-person) and Hawai‘i (telehealth only)

CFO: Dr. Joannah Bluntach, DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP‑BC
Introduction:  Hello to everyone! I grew up in northern Minnesota and have been a board‑certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) since 2015. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica and completed both my master’s and doctorate degrees at the University of South Alabama.
I have more than 10 years of experience providing mental health care and medication management through telehealth and in outpatient settings. I am passionate about helping people, reducing stigma, and supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My approach is holistic, integrative, culturally sensitive, and person‑centered. I am committed to providing quality, compassionate, and timely mental health care to individuals across Minnesota and Hawai‘i.

Cultural & Spiritual Views:  I value cultural humility and strive to understand each patient’s unique background, traditions, and identity. My practice welcomes individuals from all cultures, including Indigenous, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and multicultural communities. I recognize the importance of family, community, and cultural values in shaping mental health, and I aim to provide care that is respectful, inclusive, and responsive to each person’s lived experience.
I was raised in the Christian faith and am comfortable incorporating spiritual or faith‑based perspectives into treatment when requested. I support individuals from all faiths, backgrounds, and belief systems, and I believe that honoring a person’s cultural and spiritual identity is a part of compassionate, person‑centered care.

Areas of Expertise:  Anxiety disorders (OCD, GAD), depression, bipolar and other mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, substance use and addiction, borderline personality disorder, and co‑occurring conditions.

Therapy Approach:  Person‑centered, supportive, integrative, and cognitive‑behavioral.

Hobbies:  I enjoy spending time with my family, taking in beautiful sights, spending time outdoors, reading, and traveling.

My Story & Mission image
I chose to practice in mental health because I believe every person deserves compassionate, respectful, and stigma‑free care. Growing up in northern Minnesota, I saw firsthand how mental health needs often went unmet, misunderstood, or minimized. These experiences shaped my commitment to providing accessible, culturally sensitive, and person‑centered support to individuals and families across our communities.

I formed this practice to create a space where people feel heard, valued, and supported. My goal has always been to offer high‑quality, timely care that honors each person’s cultural background, spiritual identity, and lived experience. By combining telehealth with in‑person services, I strive to make mental health care more reachable for individuals throughout Minnesota and Hawai‘i — especially those who face barriers to traditional care.

This practice reflects my belief that healing happens through connection, trust, and collaboration. I am honored to walk alongside patients as they work toward greater stability, resilience, and well‑being.
